Considerable experience in organisational development and capacity building overall after more than ten years of working for NGO:s and municipalities. The positions have mainly been within the fields of project management, resource mobilization, youth engagement, labour market projects with much focus on the Somali diaspora in suburbs, refugee and integration issues, tolerance, twinning projects, volunteering programs and media in exile.

Bachelor degree in Human Geography with focus on third world issues and sustainable development. Master course in Integrated Coastal Zone Management with case studies in East Africa.

Having arranged tolerance trips to Bosnia í Hercegovina for youth, done monitoring and evaluation work in Uganda and a trainee period with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescents delegation in the Maldives, Daniel is experienced working in international contexts.

Trainer diploma in Global Engagement with the Red Cross, coaching and mentoring with the European Voluntary Service.
